| JORINE Jorine Oosterhoff was born in The Hague (the Netherlands) in 1981. From childhood on she had a special fascination for fantastic surrealistic stories,together with animation, characters and ceramics, Fascinations that were here to stay. Jorine makes frozen stories in objects, families of products, things that are unique. In 2005 she graduated at the Academy of Art and Design Arnhem. Her design studio JORINE was also found in 2005 and is currently based in Arnhem, The Netherlands. Here she creates her own projects as well as projects for clients. For JORINE designing products just to be products is not a challenge. Work has to be multiple layered, like a script, fitting from the beginning to the end. Series become families, products become characters. In 2006 JORINE started, apart from her studio, a new company Freaks United: a cooperation with Egbert-Jan Lam. Freaks United works for several international companies designing tableware, cutlery, glassware and interior products . |

| Internship at JORINE
We are a small autonomous company, with a lot of self initiated projects as well as projects for large international contractors. You will assist us with a variety of tasks across product design, ceramic projects, etc. If you are a hands-on open minded designer who is self-motivated, passionate about design and with a flexible attitude we would love to hear from you. Our internships are unpaid and last at least three months with extensions and freelance work subject to individual performance.
